Compact Treadmills FAQ
Compact treadmills are either standalone walking pads or treadmills with clever folding mechanisms that allow you to free up floor space. They're different from regular treadmills in allowing you free up space when your workout is over.
While compact treadmills have a slower max speed of around 6km/h - 12km/h, you can find models that go as high as 14km/h - 16km/h, which is an ideal running speed for most trainers.
This will depend on the model. Walking pads will require very little space and can be stored just about anywhere, while some compact treadmills will have a frame that may take up more space. Always check the product dimensions to make sure it suits your space.
Most compact treadmills will be compatible with a standing desk for Walk & Work setup. Make sure to look for the Walking Pad or V-Fold models that are great for this kind of workstation.
Compact treadmills tend to be the quietest treadmills, especially the Walking Pad range. They're designed to be as silent as possible so you can exercise without disruption.

About Our Compact Home Treadmills
There are two types of compact treadmill. The first kind is a regular treadmill that has a fold up frame or running belt. These allow you to lift the running belt to free up the space underneath. The second type is our range of V-Fold and WalkingPad treadmills. These essentially strip down the treadmill to just a standalone running belt, base, small LED screen and sometimes a small, extendable handle. This type of treadmill is 60% thinner an average treadmill and folds a full 180 degrees down the middle, meaning they can fit in just about any corner of the home.
