Ski Trainers FAQ
A ski trainer is an indoor cardio machine with high-strength cables that mimic the motion of skiing, targeting the core, lats, back and triceps.
Ski trainers are very low-impact, allowing you to remain stationary with your feet firmly on the ground while you intensify your workout. This is great news for people who have joints issues or are recovering from an injury, as well as anyone concerned about high impact on their body.
Ski trainers effectively target the whole upper body, including the arms, back, core and lats, as well as stabilising muscles in the legs and lower body. This makes it an effective tool for full body conditioning that also builds cardio endurance.
Being fully upright, ski trainer machines don't take up too much space compared to similar cardio machines (ellipticals, rowers, treadmills etc.). You'll need to allow over 2 metres of height and width around the machine.
Ski trainer machines are comparatively quiet alongside other cardio machines and are definitely apartment friendly.
