Pilates Reformer Machines FAQ
A reformer Pilates machine is a specialised exercise device that uses a sliding carriage, springs and adjustable straps to create resistance. It's used for controlled Pilates movements that target strength, flexibility, balance and posture.
Most reformer Pilates machines are approximately 2.3-2.5 metres long and around 60-70 centimetres wide. Sizes can vary depending on the model and whether it's designed for home or studios, so checking product dimensions is always recommended.
To be safe and comfortable, allow at least one metre of clear space around the reformer. This provides room for mounting, dismounting and full-range movements.
