Reebok & Adidas Treadmills FAQ

Reebok are certainly a well-known brand in the fitness industry, and have a reputation for high-quality workout equipment across a range of products. It’s also no secret that they have a pretty stylish look about them, and are designed with a very modern feel. But are the treadmills themselves any good? This will greatly depend on what you’re looking for in a treadmill. In terms of materials, Reebok treadmills are constructed with high-quality components, promising a good deal of durability and a long lifetime. Reebok treadmills also come with a lot of handy smart features, such as a dedicated fitness app to connect to your treadmill and customise your workout. Some models will even come with an adjustable fan to stay cool during your exercise. For the running belt, they’ll utilise either a SubLite or Floatride+ technology, which works to cushion the impact of your running, and provide a stable base as you accelerate your workout. You’ll also find a high-quality DC or HP motor, which ensures a steady, secure running speed, usually reaching top speeds or 18 to 20 km/h. Overall, they’re good quality treadmills, with many options for extra features and customisation that many users will enjoy.

This will depend on which model you have, as there are multiple methods Reebok treadmills utilise for Bluetooth connection. For some models, you can download a compatible Reebok app that will connect your phone with your treadmill. This will allow you to choose between workout programs, and even navigate virtually through Google Streetview. Other models will allow you to connect straight to the treadmill as you would any kind of Bluetooth speaker, so that you can play your own media through the treadmill’s built-in speakers. Some models will even have a place-holder for your phone your tablet, allowing you to enjoy a range of entertainment from your device while you exercise. Make sure to check the product page or manual of your particular treadmill, as not all machines will work the same or have the same features.

On many of our treadmill models, you’ll find hydraulic folding technology, that folds and unfolds the running belt with a safe, simple mechanism. The particularly folding method will differ depending on the machine, and not all Reebok treadmills come with folding capabilities. Folding the running belt is a simple process of unlocking the running belt, lifting it up off the ground and allowing it to lock into place automatically. This ensures the running belt will never fall unexpectantly, or cause strain when trying to fold it up, a useful component when packing away at the end of an intense cardio workout. For more information on your particular machine, consult your product manual, or reach out to one of our friendly team if you have any question.

Adidas are well-regarded in the fitness world for their superior quality training equipment. Our selection of Adidas treadmills are commercial grade, smart machines with a range of advanced features and high-quality components. The Adidas treadmill’s 4HP Motor makes it full commercial grade, and ensures that the treadmill can handle extra weight while remaining steady, as well as being able to provide consistent performance over a long lifetime. Check out our blog post on the difference between a commercial and home treadmill for more information. These treadmills also have a series of advanced smart features to accelerate your workout experience. These include the UltraX 10.1” touchscreen, which not only allows for easy control over your machine, but can be used for media playback, featuring various apps including YouTube and Netflix. This connects with the 5W speakers for an amazing entertinnment experience while you exercise. The screen can also be used for virtual scenic routes, with the treadmill coming pre-built with various different choices for scenery for you to choose from. You can also enjoy 27+ pre-programmed workout programs which guide you through specific workouts. The Orthopaedic running belt uses NRG cushioning to minimise joint irritation and provide superior shock absorption, preventing potential injury and reducing noise. All this makes Adidas treadmills quite superior, providing an amazing workout for users of all levels.

Regularly lubricating the running belt of your Adidas or Reebok treadmill will be important in extending the life of your machine, and making sure that it’s always running at optimal performance. You can lubricate the running belt by using a silicone or oil spray, lifting up the belt towards the top of the treadmill (where you’d be running/walking the most) and spraying underneath. Make sure to do this approximately every 3 months, or for every 30 hours of use. Check out our video tutorial on lubricating a treadmill running belt on the Lifespan Fitness YouTube channel, where you’ll also find plenty of other tutorials on maintaining your treadmill.

Reebok and Adidas Treadmills

Reebok and Adidas are two of the most well-known brands in the fitness world, and have a strong reputation of producing high-quality workout equipment across a range of fields. We have a wide selection of Reebok and Adidas treadmills to choose from, offering a range of smart features, commercial-grade components and advanced user functions. Reebok and Adidas are brands that will differ slightly in their features, components and style, but generally have a similar approach to treadmill design and are both reliable, commercial brands.

Our Reebok and Adidas treadmill are constructed with specialist high-quality machinery and components, built with a distinct design and premium materials. This sets them apart from most home treadmills, and will produce a noticeable difference in experience and utility. These machines go above and beyond in user experience, delivering a truly unique, next-level workout with more advanced functions, greater durability, as well as greater personalisation and control.

These treadmills will come with motors of between 2.25 to 4.0 Horse Power, and usually come with a top speed of around 18-20km/h. These are high power motors that ensure a smooth, consistent running belt, and the ability to take on extra weight. The quality of the motor is an important (often overlooked) aspect in deciding on a treadmill, and is a big determiner in the lifetime of your machine. Reebok and Adias have ensured their machines are manufactured with quality motors for a high-quality product.

As with many of our treadmills, Reebok and Adidas machines will come with 15-18 levels of automatic incline. Incline is an important function in treadmills, as it helps to elevate your treadmill workout. Running or walking on an incline activates a greater number of muscles, and more closely resembles real-world conditions, making for great functional training.

These machines will come with a variety of smart features to accelerate your treadmill exercise. These include compatibility with your smartphone, either directly or through a free fitness app. Reebok has their own Reebok fitness app compatible with their own machine, and unlock a number of other features. These can be used as a handy way to track all of your workout data, including duration, frequency, calories burned and even your heart rate. On some models, you can even sync up the treadmill with Google Maps and take virtual tours through specified routes. Your phone can also be connected to play your own media through the treadmill’s built-in speakers, with some machines coming with a dedicated screen for media playback.

They’ll also come with pre-set workout programs to choose from, which take you through specific workouts with automatic speed and incline changes throughout. Pre-programmed workouts are designed by personal trainers, and provide the option to tailor your workout to your fitness level, as well as focus on different areas of fitness with each workout. Some models will also provide the option to create your own workout program, making for a holistic exercise machine that caters to all users.

When it comes to the running belt, Reebok and Adidas have their own unique cushioning technology that they utilise in their treadmill products. This will vary between models, but is guaranteed to provide maximum security and comfort for your joints, helping to soften the impact in your feet and legs, preventing injury and reducing excess noise. This will produce a workout that is comfortable, safe and minimises muscle strain. On Adidas treadmills, you’ll find a specially formulated orthopaedic running belt, which boosts cushioning and grip whilst reducing noise. While it’s still recommended to wear proper running shoes while using a treadmill, these machines come with the guarantee of maximum security and protection for your joints, providing the solid base you need to accelerate your workout.

Reebok and Adidas are iconic brands in the fitness industry, and their collection of treadmill machines are exceptional examples of that. Not only do they provide the latest in advanced features, commercial design and safety standards, but they have a unique style that is guaranteed to look great in your fitness space. These sleek machines give you the best of both worlds, being advanced, professional-grade treadmills, while still maintaining a user-friendly experience that’s widely accessible. Having one of these machines at home will provide plenty of motivation for your daily jog!
