Maintenance

To keep your machine functioning in its best condition and to ensure its longest possible life, they'll require regular maintenance and upkeep.

The first step is to keep your cross trainer clean and sanitised, ensuring you wipe down the machine regularly and clearing dust or other dirt. You can also get yourself a protective cover to put on the machine when not in use.

Ensure that all nuts and bolts are checked and tightened on a regular basis, including rollers and other moving parts. It's also important to apply a lubricant or grease to moving parts, such as the stride rails. You may also remove certain coverings to vacuum underneath.

These steps may differ depending on what type of cross trainer you have, so check your product manual for specifics. You may also want to purchase an equipment mat to protect your floors.

Picking up your order

Before picking up your treadmill, check the carton measurements against the space in your vehicle, dimensions are available on the website. Treadmills will not fit in most sedans or hatchbacks, and will require an SUV, Van, Wagon or a Large Tray Ute. We do not recommend removing the packaging to save space, as damage can occur to your vehicle or the treadmill itself. For safety reasons, we cannot force products that cannot physically fit in your vehicle.

Lifespan Fitness Cross Trainers in Gold Coast

As one of Queensland's most popular tourist destinations, the Gold Coast features sunny, subtropical climates, famous theme parks and a thriving city centre. All this means things get crowded during the summer months. In such a popular city, the local gyms tend to overflow during peak times, leading to longer training sessions and sharing equipment with several people. This makes the prospect of being able to get a full workout from the comfort of your home much more appealing. With Lifespan Fitness' range of premium cross trainers, you can escape the gym crowds and train to your schedule.

Exercising outside can also come with problems. The Gold Coast is a humid, subtropical climate, with mild to warm winters and humid, wet summers. During summer, the Gold Coast experiences average highs of 28 degrees with high levels of precipitation. If you're someone who likes to stay active outdoors, you'll have to limit that time to early mornings or evenings to avoid heat exhaustion and dehydration. The city also experiences heavy rain periods during summer, mostly concentrated in thunderstorms that can last up to a few weeks at a time.

Owning a home cross trainer in the Gold Coast gives you the flexibility to comfortably exercise on the hottest days. Lifespan Fitness offers a huge range of cross trainers in the Gold Coast, including front drive and rear drive machines. Lifespan Fitness covers all suburbs in and around the Gold Coast, including Currumbin, Coolangatta, Ashmore, Labrador and Robina.
