Commercial Treadmills FAQ
A commercial treadmill is built to handle high-traffic environments where there's a large rotation of users on the machine all day every day. The components are designed to handle this high usage, lasting much longer than a regular treadmill.

Commercial treadmills are definitely worth considering for home gyms as they provide a long-lasting machine that you can rely on. Buying a commercial treadmill for your home gym is a solid investment that will pay off in the long run.
If you're buying commercial, always look for the best quality components available. For electric treadmills, look for a CHP rating of 4.0 or above. For manual treadmills, look for high quality running belt slats and solid frame. Also be on the look out for advanced smart features such as app compatibility, Bluetooth connections and exercise programs.
Commercial treadmills generally require more space than a regular treadmill, usually about 2m-3m in length and over 1m in width. Make sure you have adequate space around the treadmill and enough ceiling height to accommodate both the machine and your height.
You can expect your commercial treadmill to last anywhere from 4-7 years, potentially longer. Maintenance usually involves lubricating and aligning the treadmill belt or replacing any broken parts.
