Delivery & Installation

Lifespan Fitness offers standard Door to Door delivery in Newcastle, as well as an installation service.

Our Door-to-Door service offers reliable street level/ground floor delivery. Our couriers will not deliver large items upstairs, enter homes or provide installation/removal services. For items that weigh more than 40kg, they will require assistance in unloading.

We offer a separate assembly service, where a specialist provider will put together your machine after the date of the delivery.

Maintenance

To keep your machine functioning in its best condition and to ensure its longest possible life, they’ll require regular maintenance and upkeep. You may also want to purchase an equipment mat to protect your floors.

The first step is to keep your spin bike clean and sanitised, ensuring you wipe down the machine regularly and clearing dust or other dirt. You can also get yourself a spin bike cover to put on the machine when not in use.

Ensure that all nuts and bolts are checked and tightened on a regular basis, including pedals and other moving parts. It’s also important to apply a lubricant or grease to moving parts, such as the flywheel/drivetrain. This will differ depending on what type of spin bike you have, so check your product manual for specifics.

Also checking that the drive train is properly aligned will be an important step every few months of usage. Again, this will differ depending on the machine.
